Excessive Armpit Sweating

Reasons and treatments for excessive armpit sweating.

One of the most common problems in hygiene especially for those people who are very active is excessive armpit sweating. It is not a serious matter however it is kind of embarrassing if people can see wet spots on the part of your T-shirt under your arms. It is also a major turn off when people see your wet underarms.

If you want to treat your excessive armpit sweating, here are the things you should do:

If your excessive underarm sweating affects your daily life negatively, then you should consult an expert about it. It could be your family doctor, a surgeon, or a dermatologist. Seek help if you think it is not normal.

You can ask these experts about Botox treatment especially if you are sweating profusely under your arms everyday. However, keep in mind this is not recommended due to the risk involved with Botox treatments. Natural remedies are recommended (see below)

It is also possible to cure your excessive armpit sweating at home. There are home remedies that are very easy to find or buy such as baby powder. You can apply baby powder under your arms. If it does not work, get yourself a good antiperspirant or deodorant that suits your general lifestyle.

You can also use Aluminum Chloride. You can apply this onto your armpits. But if you want an alternative way, take in some oral medications. Again, always ask your doctor before taking any forms of medications. Although some unnatural methods are often talked about, they are generally not recommended.

Always be clean. Take a shower or a bath regularly. Scrub and use soaps that can help you reduce sweating and at the same time prevent excessively sweating and smelling underarms.
